Drilling the Front Hole for the 7A/9A Main Landing Gear Weldments

Don't know if this idea has been posted before. While installing the weldments for the main gear, the very fore or front hole cannot be matched drilled due to the interference of the vertical F-702/902 bulkhead. Reading various threads and builder sires, most just measured it out and drilled.

It occurred to me that most parts (R&L) are just a mirror of the other. So I drilled (not full size) both sides except for the front hole. I then took the opposite weldment and cleco'd externally to the opposite skin and drilled the front hole.

It worked fine and was able to install both weldments without issues.
