Ok look at the pics of what I have says a 28V unit only so no box to “regulate” however when I google the contents upper right it says 14V. What’s this worth?

According to the G3X installation manual, there are several 12 volt versions of the GAP 26 for experimental aircraft: 010-01074-00 (unheated), 010-01074-10 (heated but unregulated) and 010-01074-20 (heated and regulated). Looks as though you've got 010-01074-60, which is not listed in the experimental G3X installation manual, so I guess it's aimed at certified aircraft.

The above is correct. The -00/10/20 variants have 4 heater wires, which allow the unit to be wired for either 14V or 28V aircraft. The -60 variant has only 2 heater wires, and is intended for 28V applications only. It's sold as part of this standalone AOA kit for certified aircraft. You can use it in your RV if you happen to have a 28V electrical system, but otherwise it will probably be more useful to someone else.
