Auto Trim for roll?

I’ve wired the pitch servo for auto trim but I’m inclined to control the roll trim myself instead of auto trim.

Suggestions, experiences, recommendations, opinions, etc….?

Van's manual trim is simple, easy to install and works well.

Due to roll trim being a spring bias system, I do not normally hook up auto trim with it.

I have dual-axis autotrim on my Rocket. The roll axis is the spring bias system.

One advantage is that when the auropilot is switched off, the aircraft is in perfect trim. This is a safety as well as a convenience feature.

Hook it up

I would hook it up. It is easier to do it now, and not use it, then to try and do it later.

I have auto trim and it is nice to pop off the Otto pilot and have everything in trim.
