RV-10, failed starter at the fuel stop. This is a standard LS starter. Trouble shooting verified it is the starter, not the starter solenoid or firewall mounted start relay.

Anyone near with a starter on the shelf? Tim needs to get his daughter home and he needs to get to his day job.

Highly recommend flight widgets. They are very close to me. I could pick it up for you and bring it to you on Saturday, weather permitting.

Very close to me and have been there before. However, i have no spare starter. Spruce is probably a 1.5 hour drive from there. Enterprise will probably deliver a car to thae airport for $70. Let me know if he needs tools or support.

I think bill lane is based out of that airport. May want to see if you can track him down.

Thanks for offers of assistance. Christian of GreenWing Aviation (A&P with a shop on the field) let me borrow a starter for the rest of our journey. Very solid guy with lots of integrity.
