A new holy grail engine?

So is this a new holy grail engine for us or just an idea we will never see again? Multi fuel rotary engine, symmetrical, no offset power or figure 8 lobes with seal issues. Very few moving parts. Scaleable. Having trouble finding a clear moving diagram of how the suck-squeeze-bang-blow works in it.

As much as I would love to see something new like this prove to be the Next Big Thing, right now this one looks like a fantastic device for generating press releases and obtaining investment money. I find it more than a little odd that they claim to have this fantastic new engine... but there's apparently no video anywhere of the thing actually running, nor has anyone reported seeing it run. Call me crazy, but if I had a new engine design I'd make sure people could see it hard at work. Unless all I had was a bunch of CAD drawings and a non-working mock-up, of course.

But hey, what do I know?

reliability the key

Sounds like a good idea, but for me reliability is the key. In that vein, it has to have years of successful operation before I put my life in its hands.

Another one?

Not likely in the lifetime of those alive today. Let's just hope they don't get any money from our little band. Yet.

They may be tractor-like but Lycons are still the best bet by a long shot.

Oh, I almost forgot Rotax. My hangar neighbor Greg (Europa/Rotax) would disown me.
