6A flap leading edge

acquired a 6A that I plan to finish, almost done as it is. One item that needs redone is the sliding surface on the top of the flap, the stuff that looks like thick tinfoil. I cant find it on the vans site, maybe someone has a suggestion as to what that stuff is and where i can get it.

found and ordered. seems I couldnt find it because its no longer metal.

An alternative material here, as well as on the canopy skirts (if you have a slider) is to use the fuzzy piece from velcro. Stick it on the underside of the top wing skin where the flap rolls into the trailing edge.
