Canopy frame front bow hidden by the glare shield?

Hey guys, I'm preparing to paint the canopy frame. If I install the glare shield in the future, will the front bow be pretty much hidden? If so, I'll just keep it bare. The tube seems to have a coating on it, and I guess it'll require some good sanding to paint. Thanks!
 
Although I haven’t installed my glareshield yet, I’ve test fit it, and it does cover the bow. In fact, it attaches to the bow with sealant and a couple of screws or rivets.

Did you get frame #2 to fit?😄

Also remember that you have to scuff the weld in the center front bow where it touches the plexiglass. If you haven’t done that yet, you might want to do that first.
As for me, I chose to prime and color it also as a somewhat additional layer of protection.

The second one was uneventful, fortunately 😂. I didn’t chase perfection. Sometimes good enough is good enough.

I have to say the geometry differs quite a bit from frame to frame. My #1 front bow is marginally cleaning the avionics, and #2 has quite generous a gap.

Maybe a strip of black vinyl wrap can be put there? Thanks for sharing the link to the velvet and edge trim. That saved me some additional research.
