And FOD free! I once had an erratic RPM indication on my VM1000c. It drove me nuts for months! It turns out that it was one strand of 22 AWG wire, 1/8” long that bridged across two pins in the connector!

Possibly debris in the fuel lines? How would I check for that? Would debris be visible in the fuel coming out of the cube while draining on the bench? I think the only other solution would be to locate the cube up against the firewall, away from the engine block and exhaust tubes.

When mine went south I sent it in the EI for evaluation and they sent me a new one. Mine was also out of warranty.
