I have a fresh and clean firewall and the opportunity to map out next steps. I converted the old short leg un-finished kit I bought to the long leg with dynafocal mount. I am mating my RV-4 (Serial #2593) to a Continental IO-340 with a rear mounted prop governor for a 3-blade MT-prop. The engine is set up for a Raven inverted oil system which I also going to map out before final installation of the engine. I have an earthX battery that I also plan on having up there somewhere versus in the cockpit (maybe in one of the cheek cowlings). I am wondering if going with Berringer brakes and a firewall mounted master cylinder is a good way to go? I see some others have gone with brake mounted master cylinders, which seems pretty restrictive to get to for servicing.
