Anyone with a very recent parts orders from Vans? (not RV-15 related) How long was the turn around to ship? I need less than 50 bucks of misc.hardware but don't want to wait two weeks before it ships.

My past experience saw slow turn-around but I've had a couple of orders in the last couple of weeks and both were turned around surprisingly quickly.

Just ordered piano hinges and nut plates, shipped within 2 days, however usps sat on it for 10 days.

if it’s just hardware, you might want to comparison shop at ACS or Genuine Aircraft Hardware. Prior to Chapter 11, Van’s was almost always less expensive than either of the other two mentioned, but now it seems to no longer be the case. Van’s is more expensive than either now when I have looked - plus their packing and shipping times are measured in days or longer. ACS typically ships the same or the next day from when you order.
I placed an order on 12/16/2025 for in stock control column mounts, and it did not ship until 1/5/2026 (holiday). On 1/20/2025 I placed an order for an RV-8 rudder kit. They estimated shipping in mid-April (3 months).
