It seems that I read that the automotive style plug wire cannot touch each other because they are not shielded. If this is true what do I do with all the excess wire? I have pmags kit and right now I have it bundled behind the baffling. Obviously touching each other

They can cross each other. Here's the verbiage right out of their manual: "Leads should be kept separated. Do NOT bundle them together which can cause them to be inductively coupled. Wire looms can be purchased at auto parts stores, but a simple separator can be fabricated out of tie-wraps and ¼” segments of leftover MAP sensor hose."
My understanding is that the main problem with having spark plug wires close to each other is that there could be some inductive "cross-fire". The way the wires are routed and the firing order of the Lycoming 4-cylinder mean that if there is "cross-fire" it shouldn't cause any issues. Happy to be corrected!
I used these for the plug wires. Nice tight fit on the wires.
