flap trailing edge

I just finished clecoing together my right flap (RV10) for match drilling. I am concerned about the vedge piece at the trailing edge sticking past the skin edge. Is this normal, or is it a problem that I should address? Does anyone have the same experience?
I have posted the questions with Van's tech support and waiting to hear from them.

That’s normal. I just did this step myself. Make sure you run that trailing edge wedge all the way to the end of the flap. The instructions want you starting with the second hole from the edge of the wedge, if that makes any sense.

Thanks, Tlrguy.
I got the response back from Vans technical support, and they said - Use ProSeal to sandwich the part of the assembly (and the squeeze out that occurs); once it has cured and use the sanding block with the proper “fit and finish” technique, you will have a beautiful, homogenous trailing edge.
