Flipping mixture control cable bracket

Hello

Plans call for the mixture cable bracket to be installed like this:



I have installed it like this now, to allow full movement of the cable and having full rich of the control knob fully forward and not with a 1/2 inch travel still to go, any concerns about this arrangement?

Stress on the bracket would be my only concern. I see it is already bent a little but not sure if that was you or the pressure from the cable.

Also, don't forget to slide the rubber seal back on to the end of the outer part of the cable.

I'm with Ray. As long as it's not in constant tension on the bracket, you should be fine.
