First flight RV-9a
Uneventful first flight- but high CHTs of 430 cylinders 1 and 2- need to cut down the air ramps. Fixed pitch Sensenich composite prop- really miss my prior constant speed engine on my prior plane. Flew well, starting phase one and still doing engine break-in.

Congrats, welcome to the 9'er fleet! Might want to wait on chopping down the air dams until after break-in, just so you can see where the CHT's ultimately settle down to beforehand.

Thats great. I hope you already have your wheel paints and fairings done because once you start flying, they will never get done! Have fun and make sure you record all the data.
PS - hope you didnt get any of the flooding they got at Yellowstone area. I love Missoula.
