Does anyone have some perks on the installation of a Garmin pitot. I purchased the mount but when I received my WB wing, thsspar appears to have nut plates in the location of the spar to receive the access plate W-822PP. Curious to know how anyone had got around this.
I made a doubler and used a angle piece to attach the doubler to the wingrib. In forward direction i used the same rivets as for the skins (just longer ones).
This is how I did it. The location is just on the outside of the rib by the access cover for the bellcrank. Instead of using a skin doubler I made an aft end brace to help support the mast more securely.
