“Can you”? From what perspective? Legal, moral, ethical, technical?

Equipment developed for the airboat crowd has been used on aircraft for a long time. These range from valve covers to reduction drives. I made a bracket for my Lycoming that would accept a Chevy gear reduction starter with zero mods. Worked great for many years. Much better than some of the “aircraft” starters I’ve owned.
