I'm New Here
Hi all,

Doing my first repair on my family's RV-6A while the weather is nice. i just replaced the O-ring on the piston of the left size brake caliper.

I've also got to re-torque four other bolts. They will require removing the wheel, so I'll have to jack it up.

Then there's the job of bleeding the brakes.

I feel pretty confident, and I can have a friend help me with the brake bleeding, but it never hurts to have experienced supervision when working on an airplane. I'll be out tomorrow working around 4, I can be reached at 208.262.6167.

Also, I'd be happy to fly with someone when this is all finished.

You can bleed brakes solo, if you use a pressure sprayer, like a weed or bug one, start at the bottom caliper and fluid goes up, pushes out air.
