I'm installing the Whelan combined rear position light and strobe in the rudder. It's the new rudder tip with a nice little platform for the light. But things are pretty tight still How have others tackled this?

Hi Ken,
I made a little backing plate out of .032 and riveted that to the rudder with the nuts JB welded to the backing plate, works great
