Yep - I've only heard good things about him.

I have his WingWag unit (so small !!), as well as his special screw-terminal electrical connector, which was the best solution for connecting the Infinity Grip wiring to the aircraft wiring with minimal drama. It really came into its own when I had to change some discrete outputs around - no crimping or soldering... wires out, new wires in, done.

I also want to say that I have had two interactions with him across two different RVs and they were both very excellent; probably the best customer service (helpfulness, responsiveness, quality) of any third-party RV accessories that I have installed.
 
I bought an RV-10 that was still running the halogen Taxi/Landing light system, and got on VAF to learn about better options. Paul spotted my post requesting advice for upgrade options… and expertly directed me to a cost saving upgrade solution with FlyLed plug and play lighting that provided a better-than-anticipated end result. He know his product and knows the application problems that arise, and his advice was spot on. I now go to FlyLed first with my lighting questions
 
FLYLEDS is by far the best RV aircraft lighting system available. More reliable. Brighter. Less expensive. Great service. For the "builder" you can assemble your own. Great tech support.

And he is not a pilot, just a mate of some pilots in Melbourne and wanted to do better.

I have installed many systems in 7/8/9/10 and nobody has been unhappy. I have probably 1000 hours on my own system which was a beta test of the RV10 Works package.

He should charge more in my opinion. :)
 
Speaking from personal experience FlyLED's are an absolutely fantastic company to deal with, Paul is very quick to respond to messages and the product is superb, it is also amazing value for money compared to alternatives and I am so very glad that I opted to go the FlyLED route on my RV9A Build, Vans should seriously look at making them the standard fit options and include them in kits.

Yep, I agree 100%! Paul's customer service and products are Top Notch! I have the complete "Works" with strobes and quad lights along with Wig-Wag switch. Product is perfectly prices and high quality. My interactions with Paul have always been great!
