Does anyone know of a good shop to have crank, case, cylinders, cam, etc.... checked out in the Chicagoland area?

Poplar Grove Airmotive at C77 has a complete overhaul faicility and has a good rep among the locals. Phone 815-544-2300.

Besides, it's a great airport to hang out. Some of the most diverse collection of aircraft around.

I'll update this to say that I did take all my parts up to Poplar Grove Airmotive. I am very impressed with there service and cost (considering these are airplane parts of course). I took three trips up there and it is indeed a cool airport. I saw 4 RV's leave two weeks ago when I was there.
