I just recieved the pitch and roll servos and Dynon mounting kits for RV-9. The mounting diagrams supplied look pretty good, but I'm having trouble visualizing the overall integration with existing aircraft structure. Does anybody here have some photos of these servo installations? Thanks!!
Also - what guage of wire do you recommend for the runs fromt he panel out to these servos?

Just installed pitch servo "Trio Gold " about year ago. DIY base/ plate mounted to upper flange in fuselage in RV9 . Bottom side of base supported to web and bottom skin with fasteners. No flex. the Dynon servos may be different.

RV-7 but very similar. Pic 1 = Pitch servo, Pic 2 = Roll servo (in right wing)

I used and recommend the Dynon servo wiring kits that have the correct color and gauge wire, 22 AWG for the signal wires and 20 AWG for the power wires. Just verify that the length of wiring in your installation will provide an acceptable voltage drop.
