Hi i would like to install a BRS chute in my RV-7. BRS has a sales partner and he quoted a complete kit to me for about 10,000 USD. I could find many discussions about the BRS chute but no report about installation etc.. I could not find any information about a deployment.

So, did anyone in this forum actually put a BRS chute in his Vans ?

I’ve seen pictures of an RV that had a BRS installed. It had all the harnesses externally mounted under fairings. Definitely not a clean installation like the Cirrus.

Here's an article about the install on a 9A. The 7 install would be very similar. With the right paint job, I think you could make the fairings that cover the straps much less obvious. As far as I know, there's never been an actual deployment on an RV.
