I'm not always great at noticing alerts on the PFD and thought it could be a nice upgrade for me.

I looked at that system early on, too. There's a builder in the UK with one installed. I was interested in warning lamps with built-in switches to cancel the light but retain the warning on the PFD. Right on cue, Garmin came out with G3X ver. 9.21 that incorporated this feature for a Caution, Warning or a combination light.

You can't miss one of these lamps when they're on, plus you'll get an audio alert of the CAS message in your headset. Combination lamp/switches are from SteinAir.
