RV9/9A control stick travel

Hey 9/9A flyers. Working on trimming my control sticks to accommodate Tosten grips. My wings are not on so no stops to limit travel. I need to know how far does the stick travel left and right from center and what is your total stick height above the floor. Thanks.

Just me

I am not flying yet but have set mine to miss the dash by about 3/4” so i wont pinch my finger. As far as left and right, it bits the throttle plate, but it seems all 9’s have this interference in the corner. In actual flying, unlike a cessna, the pitch uses very little of the total travel forward.

Just cut back the stick the distance of the grip you are adding to the end. I think on my Tosten grips, I needed to trim off just a 1/4 to 1/2 inch more.
You can always wait to trim this until you have the wings on and rigged.
