Help on basic layout: Instr. Panel to Firewall forward

Hey guys,

I'm building a super basic electrical system with 1 generator, 1 battery, 1 EMS and nothing more to worry about.

I there any basic guideline on what cables to route together? I have separated all the sensor cables from the rest and run them in one bundle. But what about the P-Leads? Can the be run together with for example the main bus cable or should they stay 100% isolated?

Would appreciate any lead on an article or stuff. Didn't find anything useful in kitplanes.

Thanks ahead!

I ran all cables, wires, and sensor wires required on the left side of the engine through the left firewall opening and all the right through the right. I wanted any crossing of wires to occur under and aft of the panel instead of crossing on the engine side of the firewall.

Also it is important to run the engine control cables through the firewall holes prior to getting too many electrical wires going in.
