Mystery parts F-652-B

These two rectangular pieces of .063 sheet measuring 4" x 1.5" are labeled F-652-B but I cannot find any reference to them on the plans or in the online store. F-652 is the baggage compartment upper wall so the numbering would imply that they belong there, however it's not obvious what they are for. Does anybody know?

Its like extra pieces thrown into a jigsaw puzzle... I scanned 6 & 7 plans & can't find any reference!

Just looking at the fact there are two of them are they anything to do with the seat belt cable passing through the bulkhead

Thanks for checking Ralph, and that's a good thought Stephen. The two places where the seat belt anchor cables pass through the bulkhead have got UHMW guide plates riveted in, but there is no other reinforcing.
I have checked the original plans as well as the latest version and both are the same, so there weren't any changes.
Usually the problem I have is finding a part, or working out what piece I should be cutting it from, but in this case there may be parts left over!

I’ve typed in a part number exactly how it’s printed on the plans and got no results before. In that case I would call vans and they would help me out. Sometimes a part number is superseded by another part number or just not updated in the database. For example W-4092-R (leading edge rib) shows no result but it’s clearly listed on the RV-4 plans.

As an alternative - search section 4 of the manual for "AS3-063X1 1/2X4"

Per the van's Webstore, AS3-063X1 1/2X4 is used in the RV-6/6A...

Superseded parts?

The puzzle may be be solved! It appears that these parts could be obsolete reinforcing plates, which have been superseded by the uhmw rubbing blocks. I suspect that the drawing was revised (R5 in 1991), but not the construction manual. The superseded parts were also not deleted from the kit (which shipped in 1993).
