Looking for paint shop recommendations for a RV-8A. The plane is based in the Houston area and I would like to stay reasonable close.

Positive Painting

Positive painting did an excellent job on my -8 without the glo/evoke prices. Two locations, Lakeland FL and Ottawa, IL.

Great paint shop

I have my RV8 with Neal Butterworth at Winter Haven, FL (KGIF) He’s lived up to his good reputation with great work and very helpful with every detail.

John Hanger 360, John Bell Williams, MS.
John Mosley and his folks did an outstanding job on my RV-8 Cloud Dancer.
Not only did they immediately fix any issue. John was in sync with the vision I had for the airplane and came up with great ideas that made it even better. There is not a better paint shop in the nation, as far as I’m concerned.

Just picked up my S21 from Spectre Aeronautics in Jasper and am very pleased with the quality of the job. A bit on the slow side to completion, however, 4 months total at their shop.
