What cable routing model have you been guided by?

Other than for the large power cable from the battery contactor to the starter contactor, I developed my own routing plans that seemed to work out well.

I installed 3 firewall penetrations, 1 on each side and one in the middle, all with the RV-14 penetration sleeves (which Van's will sell to you), which were sealed after electrical check-out using fire safe material. I ran the higher power wires up the left side of the fuselage and the low power avionics and coax cables up the right side, all in several of the flexible corrugated conduit that Van's sells. I've had no issues with RFI/EMI interference, and am happy with the results.

If course, there are many alternatives to my routings. That's the beauty of Experimental building. <grin>
