Vertical fin skin stiffeners

I am building a HR2 with the RV 4 tail. Have heard of guys adding front spar reinforcements and skin stiffeners to the horizontal fin but what about the vertical fin. Am I over thinking or what are others thoughts. Not necessarily needed on the rv4 tail compared to a rv8 tail do to it being nearly 5"shorter?
