Anyone in Long Island able to inspect an RV-7 during the build. I have texted a few EAA contacts with no response.

that's too bad. I assume you've also tried the tech counselor listed on their site? I guess you might just show up at chapter meeting, assuming the chapter is still active.
If not then I'd look at the next closest chapter to your location, etc.

You may want to try Jon Ross. He’s on Long Island. If you’re in NY, he will more than likely be the DAR who inspects your plane. Very knowledgeable guy and has built an RV in the past. I’m sure he will charge you for his services, but I dont think it would be unreasonable.
