Just got an email from Crow regarding the 7/16" hole in their brackets (we need 1/4"). It said, if I can wait until mid January 2016, they will have a new bracket with a 1/4" hole. Just thought I'd let everyone know.

Hey Dave, you can also go to the aviation aisle at Lowes and get some #6 washers that fit perfectly as spacers. Found this out on the forum a while back.
About ready to make the big move to the airport?
 
Thickeness?

My original Crow's brackets where thicker than the Vans and require a slight stretch to get them into the holders. I got a rachetting fastener for aerobatics that came with a thinner bracket.

Are these new brackets the same thickness?
 
Not sure if they're the same thickness but I got mine early this year and they did require a slight spread to install. The #6 washers are the perfect spacers to bring them down to 1/4" for the installation bolts.
