Dynon engine sensor harness transitioning to Garmin

Avoiding the reason why (and to not start a primer war), please humor me.

What proportion of the EGT, CHT, oil and fuel pressure, ammeter shunt, and fuel flow cube, are identical between a Garmin and a Dynon install?

I've got an ancient D180 and am considering pushing over to Garmin for a laugh. I'm wondering what proportion of the engine harness I'll need to reinstall and what I can reuse?

Thanks in advance

The G3X installation manual contains a discussion of this topic - see section 24.2.6 in the current manual (revision AP as of this date).

Wow that's amazingly detailed in the manual. Thank you!

So it looks like EGT, CHT, current and fuel flow are good. Oil, manifold and fuel pressure are a maybe, a oil temperature is probably not.

Anyone with any direct experience?

Would you look at that - the CHT/EGT harness is pin compatible!

Can you remember which sensors you had to purchase?

I kept the EGT / CHT and oil temp.
Kept the fuel tank (capacitive senders with Princeton converters)

Replaced/purchased the FP/OP/MAP pressure senders and the Hall effect ammeter sender.

I think I kept the mag tach sensor but not 100% sure.

Cheers
