MT propeller lag bolt AD

This is an airworthiness issue, hence the AD.
60 days or 25 flight hours (piston powered) and you'll need to change the lag bolts if your prop is included the SN range supplied in MT SB30. I'm not slamming MT. Just posting for those who do not know. I have a subscription of faa.gov that notifies me when any propeller AD is listed.

AD:
https://www.federalregister.gov/doc...ives-mt-propeller-entwicklung-gmbh-propellers

MT SB 30, Rev 7, pages 2-4 list the effected SN's that will need to have the lag bolts replaced.
https://mt-propeller.com/pdf/sbs/sb30r7.pdf

The lag bolts hold the blade in the ferrule, which hold the blade in the hub.
I'll post some pictures of a cutaway blade we have at work once I get home.

Note

Note the original issue date of the SB. The AD was in response to the props that had not complied with the SB. This is what the guys at mt said this Oshkosh…

Here are a couple of images of our cut-away, finger pointing to lag bolt:

Typical of most SB's issued by OEM's in the part 91 arena. Many get ignored, then the FAA steps in to force the issue.
