Replace Windscreen Plastic Protectant

Sawtooth

Member
The plastic over my windscreen is wrinkled and there are small holes in it here and there. I'd like to replace it but I don't know how difficult that might be or if there is an easy source for replacement plastic. Has anyone tried this?

I've used this stuff with great success on both my LongEZ and RV canopy's. Mask the perimeter where you want the fiberglass skirt to terminate, then spray or brush 3 to 4 heavy coats of this directly to the plexiglass, inside and out. It will protect the plexiglass from minor bumps, scraps, paint overspray and epoxy drips, dust, etc. Leave on through the airframe painting phase then simply peal off with your fingers.

I'm with Ron, DISCOAT from aircraft spruce works well and is easy to use, then come right off like plasti-dip.
