My manifold pressure wires use a Weather Pack plug with three pins. Has anyone successfully crimped the wires using other crimpers, or is another crimper (T12, from White Products, https://www.whiteproducts.com/pro_crimpers.shtml) mandatory? It's ok, if so, my airplane project is just an excuse to buy more tools, anyway.
It takes two tools, but it works fine. I used my Molex crimper to capture the bare wire, then used a generic crimper to capture the weather-proofing silicone? seal surrounding the wire insulation.
