Page 46-02 step 5: Remove A and B Connectors

Step 5 says "Remove the A and B electrical connectors from the metal mounting bracket by gently prying the tab...toward the connector and slide them off the bracket."

I've pried and gently tugged as much as I dare for fear of breaking the plastic. It appears that the metal tab is simply inserted into a slot in the plastic but there must be a latching mechanism. Any advice would be appreciated.

The wording of that step could be better. Gently push the locking tab toward the outside of the plastic connector and the connector should slide off the bracket very easily.
