Trimming rudder bottom fairing

I'm getting ready to install the bottom rudder fairing. My fairing has what look like trim lines molded into the fairing. The instructions make no mention of that. Do I trim to that line and carry on from there?

Yes basically to the scribed line however I would sneak up to the long line where it butts up to the rudder skin. The front portion doesn't really matter as it is only for clearance for getting the hinge bolt in. You will have to trial fit the fairing on the rudder many times to get a good fit by sanding a bit off each side to get a tight fit on both sides.
