G3x and red cross-> help required

Colomattia

I'm New Here
hello guys, I appeal to the forum to seek help. My g3x suffers from an anomaly that I don't know how to fix. When powered by the backup battery circuit the g3x works, when I convert it to the normal power line the red Xs come out as sgown in the attached video. can anyone help me? what could be the problem and the solution? I thanks

It looks like your GEA 24 engine monitor and the GSU 25 ADAHRS are not getting power and when you switch on the back-up battery, they get power.

EDIT:
If you have the wiring diagram, maybe post a photo of how the GEA 24 and GSU 25 are wired...that would help getting some answers.

Help is here

G3X installation manual rev AQ, pg 27-6 (PDF pg 431) shows the backup
power lines for GDU460 + GSU25 + GEA24.
In normal operation they all need power to work together.
As mfleming have pointed out.

Good luck

Agreed it appears this could be related to power delivery. The G3X Touch PFD, GEA 24 EIS, and GSU 25 ADAHRS all have dual power inputs, and are typically connected to aircraft power on power input 1, and the backup battery on power input 2. Is it possible you only have backup battery power provided to the GSU 25 and GEA 24?

Feel free to send us an email at [email protected], we can always take a look at your wiring diagram for you directly.

Thanks,

Justin
