runways up towards Shaver Lake?above fresno

family is going to Shaver Lake the same weekend as Golden West.

anybody know of the closest strips before you get into the mountains?

Shaver Lake Visit

Last time I went to Shaver Lake, I parked at Sierra Sky Park. Small overnight tiedown fee. There use to be a small private (permission required) sod field in Auberry near the school which I have been into in a Pacer (10 - 12 years ago) but not with my with my RV. Don't even know if it's still there but might be worth a check. Luck to you.
