FightDek 180 autopilot install won't work! - Page 2

Power up sequence doesn’t help unfortunately. I’m beginning to think the current generation of servos are no longer compatible with the FlightDek D180.

I ended up sending the FlightDek D180 back to Dynon to check out the DSAB operation. Dynon checked out the unit and it was not communicating over the DSAB. They replaced a piece of hardware (not sure what it was called) and now it works as it is supposed to.

Dynon's tech assistance (especially David) was excellent! I was able to use the autopilot for about 3 hours and it worked well. I purchased this FlightDek D180 at least 11 years ago new and it still works great and now runs the autopilot.
