Superior XP Engine overhauls

Hey everyone, I searched and couldn’t find a pertinent thread on this, sorry if it’s a repeat post.

Superior engines are way cheaper than lycoming factory counterparts to buy outright, but are they also cheaper to overhaul?

Overhaul costs at a shop should be essentially the same. If you have the factory do it, I don’t know their pricing….

Along those lines I wondered if the Lycoming factory rebuild cost for an experimental engine was different that a certified engine. I have never seen this discussed or seen any pricing
