Cutting bulkhead for radio tray

I'm New Here
Hi All

Adding an IFD540 to my panel soon and looking for tips on cutting the hold in the secondary bulkhead behind the panel (RV-7A Slider) for the long tray.

Why re-invent the wheel with all the smart folks on here... right?

I plan on four holes in the corners, but then a saw? Nibbler? Anything better?

Thought about clamping a piece of wood in there to dampen vibrations if I go the saw route.

Thanks in advance-

Dremel tool with a cut-off wheel - but put drop clothes underneath to collect the dust and stuff - vacuum well afterwards.

+1 for Paul's suggestion.
Another option if space allows- drill 4 corner holes & a large central hole, step drills work perfectly for this. Using Lt & Rt offset snips make a series of cuts radiating from the center hole towards the corners till you have the square hole required. Quick and slightly less messy than the dremel cut.
