Boat jack stands

Lots of different ideas on jacking RV’s in the hangar, just another idea/version.
There’s several different versions of these in different heights, I chose these due to the bolted configuration having free shipping.

I’ve borrowed an airport neighbors hydraulic jacks but they never offered enough articulation and always seemed slightly tippy, and they always leaked down.

These boat stands underneath the center section are very solid and require no fabrication, even rocking the wings side to side it’s solid. They’ll also work under the wing tiedown point as well with or without a bolt. They are more work to place and will require a small cheater pipe to screw the airplane up but it will stay level forever.

.

The hydraulic rams do tend to leak down. When I built mine I fabricated a heavy steel articulating 4" X 6" padded plate to lift under the spar. They are good for servicing the wheels, but not so good building and installing the fairings due to the leak down issue. I ended up building a wood support box and shimmed for this step. I really like your solution.
