Default Houston area monthly(?) lunch (March 2021)

OK...it's been a few months, but we made it through the deep freeze and TX is opening back up...I think it's high time we got this going again. Who's up for burgers at Hooks this Saturday? (3/20)

I'll be at the restaurant at 11:30.

Oh man, I'm up for it - but my airplane isn't. My prop is on a truck somewhere headed back to me and I'm finishing up my annual.

Maybe next month - I'm planning on hosting at my place again.

Also been thinking about trying out the Runway Cafe at LBX as an alternate destination. It's a much more laid-back airport and the food is great...problem is getting there would be no fun for anyone not able to fly since it's just north of Lake Jackson.

I sure do miss Weiser.

KLBX would be fun. We just need to plan ahead so would-be drivers can fill empty co-pilot seats instead.

I third KLBX. Hooks is a little intimidating for me.

Hi Dick - this is KDWH, up on the NW side of Houston. Restaurant is the Aviator's Grill, which is inside the Gill Aviation FBO building. That's the "north terminal" on the airport diagram. Parking for transient GA aircraft is on "ramp C" on that diagram.

Hope you can make it!
