Help; tip up ball mount screws

Hi. I am having a hard time getting to the nuts to tighten the c-728 strut ball stud mount. I read that some builders use nut plates to “bind” them. I got them loosely attached by super gluing them to my finger tip but can’t seem to fabricate the right nut wrench to bend around the angle iron flange. Any tips for this high load area? Thanks 😊

IIRC, I think we used one of the small ignition wrenches and worked it up inside of the flange on the longeron, and then either held it with a couple of fingers or just let it rotate until it was stopped by the flange itself while tightening the screws.

I also had a friend NC machine the part for me, so it's a single piece instead of two...and then anodized to match the paint scheme. I like the way it came out :)
