AFS AOA calibration

I am recalibrating the AOA on my RV-9A.

I am having trouble with the step that requires executing a zero G maneuver with full flaps, without exceeding the maximum speed for flaps extended.

Can anyone suggest a technique to achieve this please?

A nice overview from Paul Dye, and an informative YouTube video.

I oversped the flaps a bit on one of the attempts. They are OK as far as I can tell. Ultimately I found that I didn’t need as much entry speed as I initially assumed. For me, success came more from an aggressive pushover and quick button-pushing. IMHO, this is best a two-pilot exercise. I did turn on the G-meter display and paid attention to the two-G limit suggestion.
