GNS 480 DATABASE UPDATE

Question for G3XPERT

I was looking today at the FlyGarmin website for an Database update for a GNS 480 ( I know it is no longer supported by Garmin) and I couldn't find one or a package available for purchase..

My question is WHY???

The Garmin 400 series is still available ( eventough the 28 volts models are no longer supported, no sure about the non-Wass models) so why is there no Database update available from Garmin??

The only thing available right now is Jepps and as you can imagine being the only guy in town, they're expensive..

Same reason Apple doesn’t support the iPhone 1

The GNS 480 is part of the Garmin AT group, and database updates come from Jeppessen. I suggest you join the GNS 480 Groups IO for more detailed explanations:
