RTV on the fuel line fittings...yikes. Scary and sobering that a simple mistake can have such catastrophic consequences.

Thanks for posting Doug. This is probably the best way to teach future builders how dangerous it is to stray from proven practices, even if its experimental. Van's has publicly been very vocal about improving safety and I for one appreciate the efforts you have made and are making to support this goal.
