Finishing Kit Timing

All,

I just noticed that finishing kit lead times are running 12 weeks right now. So, I am trying to determine when I should order mine. I am interested in hearing "ball park" build time (not calendar time) estimates for the time between having a "canoe" and needing the finishing kit. I sure hate to clutter up the shop any earlier than necessary.

Ordered mine about when it was time to flip the fus. worked well. Christmas and new year's was in between order and delivery, so may have added a couple days overall. the box barely fit in the truck- - so if space is a concern, I'd defer until you really need it.

I ordered my rv6a finishing kit in late November shortly after Van's announced price increases for 2007. My box is due to leave Van's this week.
