I took my wheel pants off my 2003 build rv-9a (bought 4 yrs ago) and noticed the lower gear leg to wheel pants intersection fairing lost it’s small fastener. I can’t see in my new rv-9a build that the intersection low fair need this fastener, but do find it stiffens the fairing. Has anyone else put this small fastener in?

? a type of chicago screw post

i did find book binding type screw/posts called chicago screws on amazon. look pretty close; bought some; maybe i can use them to bind my plans for my current 9a build as my eaa tech advisor did for his rv6 blueprints from 30 years ago (drafted by Richard VanGrunsven no less)--thanks for the input.
